Pastor Christopher Calvin has been serving in ministry for over 10 years and has been a Christian his entire life. He loves the Lord and Tower of Praise Christian Church. He has been an educator for over 30 years and is also a businessman and
entrepreneur.
First Lady
Nancy Calvin, the pastor's wife, has a heart for creating a warm and welcoming environment at Tower of Praise Christian Church. She enjoys enhancing the church through decoration and beautification, and loves people and community.
Assistant Pastor & Wife
Roy C. Thomas and Monica Thomas share a passion for prayer, ministry, and helping others walk in their God-given purpose. Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and is dedicated to empowering women in their calling. Roy has over 20 years of ministry experience and is a two-time author, musician, global missionary, and graduate of Grambling State University. He has served in education since 2001 and is currently an Assistant Principal in Southern California.
Raenaurd Turpin
Finance and Digital Transformation Ministry Head
Raenaurd Turpin is known first for his commitment to faith, family, and service. A devoted father to his three children—Rianna, Nathanael, and AprilRae—he believes that strong families and strong communities are built through love, guidance, and a shared commitment to God’s purpose.
Within the church, Raenaurd serves as Head of the Finance Ministry and helps support the church’s digital communications efforts. He is also passionate about preparing the next generation for the future through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. He regularly mentors young people and introduces them to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, programming, and engineering projects—helping them discover the gifts and talents God has placed within them.
In recognition of these efforts, Raenaurd was honored on March 8, 2026 with the STEM Pipeline Award from the B‑Relyt Math Collective, acknowledging his leadership in expanding access to STEM learning and helping build pathways for the next generation of innovators.
Professionally, Raenaurd serves as a Senior Technical Fellow and System Architect at Boeing, bringing more than 26 years of experience in advanced communications and satellite systems. His work has included leading technical architecture for the **SES mPOWER satellite constellation, a system designed to deliver high-speed internet to underserved regions across the world.
Guided by faith and service, Raenaurd seeks to use his experience in technology, leadership, and STEM education to inspire, empower, and uplift the next generation.
Ronald Williams
Worship Leader
Ron Williams leads congregation, band, and choir with a heart for authentic, Spirit-filled worship that exalts Jesus. He is passionate about building unity within the worship team while cultivating musical excellence and spiritual sensitivity. Ron provides strong leadership in vocal direction, harmony, and worship flow, helping the team serve the congregation with clarity and purpose. Through his dedication and humility, he helps create an atmosphere of worship that draws the church into deeper faith and connection with God.

Musical Director & Keyboardist
Imari Conway serves as the Music Director and primary Keyboardist at The Tower of Praise Christian Church, bringing strong musical skill, creativity, and leadership to the worship ministry. He leads the band, directs arrangements, and partners closely with the worship leader to ensure a unified, Spirit-led worship experience. His passion, excellence, and humility help create an atmosphere where God’s presence is powerfully experienced.
Joshua Calvin
Director of Sound
Josh Calvin is the director of our media and production team, overseeing sound and screen engagement during services and church events. He has a heart for serving behind the scenes, helping create an atmosphere where people can focus on worship and the Word without distraction.
